Trong tiết học này, chúng ta sẽ học về 4 thì cơ bản trong tiếng Anh:

+ Thì hiện tại hoàn thành + Thì hiện tại hoàn thành tiếp diễn.

III. Present perfect tense(thì hiện tại hoàn thành): a. Usage(cách dùng):
1. Diễn tả hành động, sự việc đã xảy ra và kết thúc trong quá khứ nhưng không chỉ rõ thời gian. Ex: We have already done our homework.
2. Diễn tả hành động, sự việc vừa mới xảy ra. Ex: She has just come here.
3. Diễn tả hành động, sự việc bắt đầu trong quá khứ kéo dài đến hiện tại và có khả năng diễn tiến trong tương lai.
Ex: We have attended English class’s Teacher Dong since 2008.
4. Diễn tả hành động, sự việc đã xảy ra trong quá khứ nhưng còn để lại hậu quả ở hiện tại. Ex: I have lost the keys. I can’t find them now.
5. Đề cập hành động, sự việc lặp lại nhiều lân trong quá khứ.
Ex: Here is my grandparents’ photograph. He has got married six times.
6. Đề cập sự việc chưa từng xảy ra từ trước tới nay hoặc chưa hoàn thành trong một khoảng thời gian nào đó.
Ex: Have you ever visited Ha Long Bay? – No, I haven’t.
* Notes: Thì hiện tại hoàn thành thường dùng trong các cấu trúc:
– Ở mệnh đề theo sau so sánh nhất.
Ex: Mary is the most beautiful girl I have ever met.
– Ở mệnh đề theo sau cấu trúc: “It/This is the first/second/third… time” Ex: It is the first time I have seen such a good film.

since : kể từ already : rồi never : ko bao giờ recently : gần đây up to now/ : cho tới bây giờ the present for : được : hiếm khi ever : đã từng lately : gần đây so far : cho tới bây giờ just : vừa : ít khi yet : chưa several times : vài lần many times : nhiều lần
* Notes(chú ý): Thì này khác với thì quá khứ đơn là thời gian không cụ thể còn quá khứ đơn thời gian cụ thể.
IV. Present perfect continuous tense (thì hiện tại hoàn thành tiếp diễn): a. Usage(cách dùng):
Diễn tả hành động đã xảy ra trong quá khứ kéo dài đến hiện tại và có khả năng diễn tiến trong tương lai. Ý muốn nhấn mạnh sự tiếp diễn liên tục của hành động.
Ex: They are poor. They have been living in such a small house for ten years.

* Notes(chú ý): Thì này dùng giống như thì hiện tại hoàn thành nhưng muốn nói lên tính liên tục của sự việc.
